Ute Dam
Ute Dam (National ID # NM00293) is a dam at Logan, New Mexico in Quay County, about west of the Texas state line. The earthen dam was completed in 1963 by the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission, without federal funding, and with a height of and a length of at its crest.〔http://findlakes.com/ute_dam_new-mexico~nm00293.htm〕 It impounds the Canadian River for irrigation storage and municipal water use.
